Desktop Capture

From V10.7 - Desktop Capture, (also known as Screen Recording or Agent Desktop Recording), is an optional extension to call recording in Softdial Contact Center™, which records video of visual activity on each agent's main screen.

Setup requires installation and configuration of both client and server side components, as described below.

Desktop Capture makes use of the Windows Graphics Device Interface (GDI), so is only available on the Windows platform.

Softdial Recording Monitor™ also requires the following configuration settings to process video recordings:

If a full audio recording is to be made for a call, and there is a suitably configured DCAP component installed on the agent’s PC, then the sequence of events is as described in Recording Process.
