Managing Exports

The Manage Exports dialogue allows the user to download, rename and delete centrally saved Static Reports.

To access the Manage Exports dialogue, in the top-right corner, click on the Main Menu icon Softdial Reporter™ 5 Icon and select Manage Exports (Fig. 1).

If any reports have been previously saved, the Manage Exports dialogue is shown (Fig. 2):

Four columns are shown:

  1. File Name - the name of the centrally saved file
  2. Type - either xlsx (Excel) or csv (comma separated values)
  3. Type - either xlsx, csv or pdf
  4. Created at - by default the file name contains the creation date-time. If the file is renamed, the Created At column can be useful for locating specific files
  5. Size - the file size
  1. Select 1 or more reports
  2. Click Download button

The file(s) will be copied to your local download folder (as defined in your browser)

  1. Select a single report
  2. Click Rename button. The Rename dialogue opens:

  3. Type a new name
  4. Either
    1. to commit the renaming, click Save button.
    2. to cancel the renaming, click Cancel button.
  1. Select 1 or more reports
  2. Click Delete button

The file(s) will be deleted from the central location.

To reduce the length of the list, either:

  1. Type into the Search... box. The list then shows only reports with a file name containing the search text
  2. Uncheck the csv/ xlsx checkboxes. The list then hides any files of the corresponding file type.

Either:

  1. Click on a column header to sort by that column. Click again to toggle direction
  2. In the column header drop-down menu, select Sort Ascending/ Sort Descending
  1. In any column header's drop-down menu, hover over Columns...
  2. Uncheck the box for the unwanted column
