Importing a Step Library

Softdial Scripter™ Designer is loaded by default with the steps contained in Sytel.StepLibrary.

Other step libraries may be imported as necessary:

Within Softdial Scripter™ Designer, from the top menu, select Script > Import Step Library. The Import Step Library dialogue opens (Fig. 1).

The various sections and fields are described below:

Section/ Field Usage
Search Options Used to locate a step library for import
Look in Loaded automatically with the default location for step libraries - C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Sytel\ScripterDesigner\Library

To locate a custom step library, click the Browse (...) button to navigate to the containing folder
Search Results Loads any step libraries found in the folder loaded in Search Options.
Select Step Library Displays a list of available step libraries, with their version numbers.

To import a step library:

  1. select a step library
  2. click on Import
Step Library Information Displays details of the steps contained in the step library currently selected in Select Step Library.
Step Library's Step Components Displays a list of available steps.

To display the Full Name (<namespace>.<steplibrary>.<step>) and a short Description of a step:

  1. select the step

To import a single step:

  1. select the step
  2. click on Import
Step Library's Dependencies Displays the Name and Version number of each dependency for the step library currently selected in Select Step Library.
