VoIP to TDM Options

Softdial Contact Center™ (SCC) supports the integration of selected 3rd party VoIP to TDM Telephony Gateway Solutions that are suited to specific geographic locations or applications.

Sytel does not supply the telephony boards or server hardware directly but we offer advice on deploying and configuring tried and tested solutions that have been deployed by our partners around the world.

Currently the following solutions have been tested by Sytel and are being successfully used in production by our customers and partners.

There are two software options available to manage the Sangoma telephony board hardware:

  1. Use the open source approach with Asterisk on Linux. See Sangoma-Asterisk Configuration
  2. Use Netborder Express on Windows. See Sangoma-NetBorder Configuration

If you are looking for enterprise level gateways to do more than just protocol conversion (e.g. SIT or Answer Machine detection), the AudioCodes Mediant® gateway range can be used.
