Logging In and Out

To log in:

1. Point a web browser at the folder you created in Installation, e.g. https://10.1.0.59/softdial/phone/. The Login dialogue (Fig. 1) will be presented.

2. Click Login. The Webphone will ask for access to the microphone (Fig. 2). (The appearance may vary depending on the web browser.)

3. Click Allow. The phone will then register with WebRTC Server and the status indicator will display Registered (<extension_number>) (Fig. 3).

   This extension number is either

   1. the parameter Default telephony address from the user configuration in Softdial Repository™, or
   2. the DefaultExtension setting from config.js (which, if present, overrides the above)

   Note the web browser tab icon indicating that the Webphone is connected to the computer microphone.

4. The 3rd party application must then log the user in. When this is complete, the status indicator will display Connected (<extension_number>) (Fig. 4).

Note that by closing the browser or logging out you will be
- dropping the nailed-up connection
- logging out of SCC

To log out:

1. Open the Webphone menu in the title bar (Fig. 5)

2. Select Logout. A dialogue will be displayed asking for confirmation (Fig. 6)

3. Click OK to log out.
