Tenant Resources

Tenant-level resource configuration is conducted within Softdial Repository™.

To access Repository, the user must have Supervisor, Configuration, System or Superuser Permissions. The Administrator, set up on installation, has Superuser permissions.

From v10.7.1619 - Individual tabs can be set to display only for users with permissions above the specified minimum. See Setting minimum permissions per tab below.

To access the Repository as a tenant:

  1. First, log in to Softdial Contact Center™ (SCC) via the Login web page, as a tenant user (e.g. tenant default). See Accessing Client Applications
  2. On successful login, the web client Home page appears.

  3. Click on Softdial Repository. The Repository opens at the Campaigns & Queues tab.

The following configuration tabs are available:

Some UI features are common to all tabs. These are described in Common Features:

To specify minimum permissions per tab:

  1. Open the file settings.json, located in <softdial>\WebServer\www\softdial\Namespace\resources\
  2. Locate the "permissions" object, which contains a name: value pair for each tab, set by default with a minimum permission of "Agent", e.g.

    "campaignsQueues": "Agent"

    and therefore displayed to all users

  3. Change the value for the desired tab(s) to the desired minimum permission, e.g.

    "campaignsQueues": "System"

    The above example sets the "campaignsQueues" tab to be visible only to users with permissions of "System" or higher

  4. Save the file

Available permissions, in order of lowest to highest, are

  • "Agent"
  • "Supervisor"
  • "Configuration"
  • "System"
  • "Super User"
